Block Party Permit

To obtain a Block Party Permit, please visit the City of Winkler website at:

Special Event Permit

Instructions
A person or organization wishing to hold a special event on a street and/or public property within the City of Winkler shall apply to the chief of police in writing by completing a Special Event Permit.

It is requested that the completed form be returned to the Winkler Police Service at least two weeks prior to the event.

There is no fee to process this application

Sign Variation Permit

A person or organization wishing to temporarily remove or alter signs which governs the control of traffic or vehicles within the City of Winkler shall apply to the chief of police in writing by completing a Sign Variation Permit.

A person or organization wishing to place a temporary sign within the City of Winkler shall apply to the chief of police in writing by completing a Temporary Sign Permit.

It is requested that the completed form be returned to the Winkler Police Service at least two weeks prior to the event.
