Winkler is one of Manitoba’s fastest-growing communities and is well known as the shopping, agricultural, and industrial hub of southern Manitoba. Serving a vibrant and growing city requires a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to protecting and serving our community with excellence.

I am incredibly proud of the members of the Winkler Police Service. Our officers and civilian staff work tirelessly, day and night, to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents and visitors. Their professionalism, dedication, and commitment to public service are evident in every aspect of their work, from responding to emergencies and investigating crimes to supporting victims and building positive relationships within our community.

At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to treating every person with dignity, fairness, and respect. We recognize that many of the individuals we encounter may be experiencing difficult or challenging circumstances. As a result, we strive to approach every interaction with empathy, compassion, and integrity while remaining accountable to the community we serve.

Effective policing depends on strong partnerships and mutual trust. We are committed to working collaboratively with residents, businesses, schools, community organizations, and our regional partners to keep Winkler a safe and welcoming place for everyone. Our officers take pride in being active members of the community through school presentations, community events, and countless informal interactions that help build meaningful connections.
